matt mattzela, pastor
pastor matt mattzela grew up in michigan with his parents and older brother, mike where he remained until he attended southern adventist university to study psychology. after receiving his b.a. degree in 2009 he attended mission college of evangelism in oregon then entered into full-time ministry. matt served in ohio, central california and micronesia where he spent 5 years. he then went to the philippines and completed his masters in ministry in 2017 and masters in public health in 2018. soon after returning to the states God led matt to serve as the current pastor of the sonoma sda church and the novato sda church.
carol boyce, office manager
carol moved to sonoma with her family in 1963 and has been involved with the sonoma sda church since then. in 1975 carol married mike in the sonoma church and shortly after had two girls karyn and tami. mike and carol now also have two grandchildren, luther and charlotte. over the years carol has served in many capacities but is currently serving as office manager, treasurer, and clerk.
